About Me

I am a queer multi-disciplinary artist living and working in London, UK. I make artworks in both two and three dimensions, and I have extensive experience as an arts facilitator, working with stories and experiences in community settings.  I use a variety of art forms including painting, textiles, photography and sound. My art is heavily influenced by a background in philosophy and psychoanalysis, and my pieces are often the result of research and observations into the human psyche.

I am very interested in how traces of the past can haunt the present and how buried matter or forces can emerge and affect our lives and relationships.  This has been influenced by my own background; my father survived the Holocaust persecution of the Jews in Europe. Recently I have become concerned with the nature of contradiction and how ideas and thoughts can manifest as contradictory yet at the same time make absolute sense.

I have exhibited in both group and selected exhibitions and sold work to private collectors and the NHS. I curated an exhibition in London in 2017 called ‘Transgender, Gender & Psychoanalysis’ that coincided with a conference of the same name at the Freud Museum.
