Arts Facilitation
Since 2015 I have been working with children and adults in regular and one-off arts projects.

Most recently I was the facilitator of the ‘Arts in Mind’ group at Towner Eastbourne. I worked with the group from 2018 to 2022. The group supports mental health and well being through creative development. You can find out about the group here. You can see our 2021 project called 'Pause' by clicking here.
Other projects I have worked on include:
-
Working with vulnerable year 6 and year 2 pupils at Meryfield Primary School, Borehamwood (Herts) from 2015 -2017
-
Working in secondary schools with Arts and Minds (charity) from 2016 - 2018 on their early intervention project in Cambridgeshire providing art workshops for students with wellbeing issues.
-
Children’s (6+) one-day workshops during Summer 2017 at the Welwyn Roman Baths Museum in Hertfordshire and the Higgins Bedford Museum in Bedfordshire. Both workshops were inspired by the collections at the museums.

Some examples of themes I work with are : identity, memory, grief, loss, forgiveness and relationships.
Some examples of methods I use are : play, mark making, responding to music, film and poetry, collaborative work, discussion and alternating ‘making’ with ‘talking’.
Some examples of art making I use are : painting, collage, textiles, clay, printmaking, photography and writing.
